Karatsu ware | Naoki Kojima | Karatsu Yamase Ido sake cup [one-of-a-kind item]

The clay used is from Yamase in Karatsu, known as the pottery clay of old Karatsu. It has a beautiful light loquat color and a slightly matte impression.  It is a beautiful masterpiece with a reddish-fired finish, kairagi on a foot ring, bamboo joint foot ring, fine cracks, and potter's wheel marks that can only be made by hand. Compared to other sake cups, the rim of the drinking spout is about 0.5 cm narrower and deeper. The Ishi-haze(Stone bursts) that can be seen here and there can also be enjoyed as part of the scenery. The more you use this sake cup, the more it will change and become more flavorful. Enjoy the process of it nurturing and changing.
