The Kojima style is particular about pouring comfort. Mr. Kojima's unique techniques are also utilized in the delicate curves of the single spout and handle.
Korean Karatsu is a technique used by potters who came to Karatsu from the Korean Peninsula, and it came to be known as ``Korean Karatsu.'' Its characteristic feature is that it is a combination of black candy glaze (ferrous black glaze) and straw ash glaze (white cloudy glaze), and the beautiful contrast between black and white is attractive, as well as the ``bleeding'' and boundaries where they blend together. The subtle scenery of blue and yellow that is created is also one of the highlights. The more you use a sake cup, the more its flavor will change. Enjoy the process of growing and changing. Holds approximately 2 cups.
