This piece is a masterpiece molded on a pottery wheel by Yuki Inoue. The “glaze droplet” technique, in which a brush soaked in a generous amount of glaze is moved in a waving motion, and the resulting drops are used to paint with the droplets, is attractive. Because dynamic designs are created by chance, no two pieces are the same. Porcelain has a soft texture that is comfortable to the touch, and the rounded shape gives it just the right amount of weight and stability, and can hold just 2 cups of alcohol. The sharpness of the spout is also perfect.
