Why not give your father a unique cup that is a little different from the usual to express your gratitude on Father's Day? We have a selection of stylish and high-quality mugs, coffee cups, and latte cups. We will introduce cups that will add color to your blissful moments according to the occasion.

The cup was created by the popular ceramic artist, Yuki INOUE.

A ceramic artist living in Arita-cho, Saga Prefecture. He is the young third-generation head of Inoue Manji Kiln, a representative Arita ware manufacturer (his grandfather is Inoue Manji, a Living National Treasure). He is conscious of the beauty of white porcelain, which is also a tradition of Arita ware, and his artistic works are attractive, drawn with a technique called "Yuteki", in which a brush soaked in plenty of glaze is moved in a shaking motion to paint with drops (shizuku). As he comes from the fashion and apparel industry, he is actively working to develop Arita ware, such as collaborating with fashion brands and making accessories made from white porcelain, while inheriting the traditional techniques of white porcelain. All of Yuki's works are made using the world's finest pottery stone, "Amakusa pottery stone", as the raw material, and are masterpieces created by wheel molding.

Perfect for a cool dad! It is stable, has beautiful, soft curves, and when you hold it in your hand, it feels soft and smooth, just like porcelain. The dynamic "glaze drop" design is created by chance, so no two pieces are the same. The same design is also applied to the inside of the cup. It holds a generous 250ml, and is also recommended for cafe au lait and soup. *Comes with a high-quality presentation box from Inoue Manji Kiln.

By the way, did you know the difference between "cafe latte" and "cafe au lait" that you often see in cafes? Cafe latte originated in Italy and is made with espresso extracted with a special machine and steamed milk (foamed milk) in a ratio of 8:2. It is made by pouring 2 parts of espresso, which is packed with the flavor of coffee, and 8 parts of milk. Cafe au lait originated in France and is made with drip coffee and milk in a ratio of 5:5. Because it uses drip coffee, it is a refreshing coffee with a slight bitterness and the sweetness of milk. The official name is "cafe au lait", and "lait" means milk in French.

How about a unique plate to go with your cup?

This is a unique and creative piece that resembles the pleats of fabric. Although it is a sturdy porcelain plate, it looks like a soft white cloth swaying in the wind. It is a unique handmade piece that could never be made by machine. It is stylish to put rings, earrings, keys, etc. in it, and it can also be displayed as an interior decoration. *Comes with a high-quality presentation box from Inoue Manji Kiln.
