Shigaraki ware | Katsunori Sawa | Oribe bowl

This is a traditional style Oribe bowl with Oribe glaze applied to part of the bowl and the margins decorated with paintings. The shading of green that is unique to Oribe is beautiful, and Sawa's stylish painting is attractive. The humorous depictions of flowers, birds, and cute snails, even the inside of foot ring, are a delight to the viewer.
