Madara Karatsu is called "Madara Karatsu" because of its mottled surface, and is a traditional technique that represents Karatsu ware. A cloudy straw ash glaze is applied and fired over wood. The soil at the bottom is exposed and the rough, warm soil flavor is attractive. The more you use a sake cup, the more its flavor will change. Enjoy the process of growing and changing. Holds approximately 300ml (about 1.7 cups).
