Kohiki Mukozuke is a piece of Karatsu porcelain made using a typical Karatsu porcelain technique called e Karatsu. This work depicts a scene with plants such as Japanese pampas grass and birds flying around energetically. Pampas grass has been considered sacred to the gods since ancient times. It is a pattern of good omen.
This mukozuke is often used in Kappo , Kaiseki, and Japanese restaurants. It adds a more elegant touch to the dining table. It can be used to serve green or simmered dishes, but it is also perfect for sashimi. Karatsu ware has the property of retaining temperature, so you can enjoy fresh sashimi if you keep the dish cool. This is a product not only in design but also in functionality.
