A traditional shaped vase. The name ``Tsurukubi (crane neck)'' comes from the fact that the part below the mouth extends like a crane. It is characterized by its rounded shoulders and swollen lower part. A cloudy straw ash glaze is applied to the entire piece, giving it a beautiful milky white color. In addition, the clay at the bottom shows off the rough, warm texture of the clay, which is the best part of Karatsu ware.
