Collection: Takuma TSUJI
The charm of inherited craftsmanship and new expressions of white porcelain
A potter living in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture. The ``line engraving technique'' of engraving on porcelain clay (a clay-like material made by powdering pottery stone), which has been passed down through generations of the Tsuji family, and the glaze gradation are used to create ceramic frames that depict scenes from Japan and the world. We are also trying to create new forms of porcelain using techniques such as board construction. In recent years, he has been focusing on stained glass-inspired vessels, such as bowls and cups, which have a beautiful jewel-like shine.
